Wild West

Time to take this,
Thinking through void coupons
And into next night's groceries.
Driving spoked rims
Into the mountains
Where the worlds stretch thin
Farsighted and losing
Ground on the horizon
Focus dies pleasantly
On the shores of ADHD strip mall visions
The spinning of serpentines
Conclude peripheral sky sights
Night being god's easy-up
And me being a burger
On tourist buffets beneath,
Spackled with mustard.
Creeping desert characters
Of exploited Mohican literature
Surround, scavenging.
Gouge childish skin
On television
The sky-dome,
An iris
My plateau,
A pupil,
Psychotropic meditation.
This planet an eyeball that will not look in.
